Back Creek News
Training is over here at Back Creek for 2020 and now it’s time to focus on getting my dogs in the field and the litters I have planned. This fall/winter my plans are to concentrate on my new Labrador addition (Finley) that is a product of the breeding that we plan to repeat in 2021 and detailed below.
This Spring, plans are to repeat an all-yellow Labrador breeding with Storm (Old Meadows Exceeding Safe Speed, MH x Back Creek’s Fowlin’ Around) and Reed (FC AFC Carolina’s Half Moon x HR Oakridge’s Sweet Magnolia, MH). Storm is a dog I bred, trained, and sold about 3 years ago. Reed is an accomplished hunter and field trial dog, has an excellent field pedigree and solid genetics. The 2019 litter between these two dogs produced an all-yellow litter with several fox red pups. We expect interest to be strong for this breeding given the quality of pups produced in the first breeding. If you think you might be interested in a pup from this litter, send me an email or call me at the phone numbers listed.
My female Boykin (Georgia) has been bred with Pup (HRCH Pupalicious Baby Dog). If the breeding is successful, puppies would arrive in February. Stay tuned for more information on this litter.
